That's me. Sitting in our (borrowed) pop- up. Alone. Drinking coffee and reading my book. The kids are off roaming around the countryside, running down to the Brazos River, climbing up limestone bluffs, exploring caves and springs and eating dandelion leaves right out of the ground. I didn't have to worry about them at all.

They had a fabulous time and my heart was so happy to be able to let them run free, not having to be able to see or hear them at all times. I definitely need me some more nature time. It felt great to be outside with them.

Well, at last a new post! When I stayed with you children on your birthday, I tried to hack into your blog to put a little something there.
But alas, I know nothing. Here's my comment which should have been posted on your birthday:

I have done little with my life,
created nothing wonderful,
given no new knowledge to the world.
But I am content.
I have given it a daughter,
most wonderful, most wise.
