Farmers Market Day!


Every other Saturday I get bookoos of fruits and veggies for $20. I enlisted the kids help and had a nice time prepping things for cooking or freezing. I love pictures of colorful produce! For dinner we had asparagus tofu soup, corn on the cob and crustless spinach quiche with brown bread and jam for dessert. The kids enjoyed it all and I think that it helped to have them doing all the chopping and washing first. Getting close to nature!
